Lay Counseling
At City Church, we believe God cares deeply for the whole person—mind, heart, body, and soul. Many believers walk through seasons of confusion, sorrow, sin, or suffering where they need help seeing their situation through the lens of Scripture and the hope of the gospel. Our Lay Counseling Ministry exists to come alongside you during those times.
We offer short-term, biblical, pastoral care designed to help you reorient your heart toward Christ, find clarity in His Word, and take practical steps of faith in your current circumstances.
What Is Lay Counseling?
Lay counseling at City Church is:
- Short-term — typically up to five sessions
- Biblical — grounded in Scripture and centered on the gospel
- Pastoral — focused on shepherding the heart, not providing therapy
