This is the second of three courses in Systematic Theology. Topics to be covered are as follows: the doctrine of humanity (theological anthropology), the doctrine of sin (hamartiology), Christology—his person and his works, the doctrine of salvation (soteriology). |
Upon completion of this course students will: |
- Become more familiar with some of the different approaches to theology that have been developed throughout the history of the church, and critique different theological methods.
- Know the major issues within the theological topics covered in this course.
- Know some of the more influential theological thinkers of the church and how they have shaped theology.
- Develop skills of theological analysis, discussion, and presentation.
- Understand how theology has changed and developed in response to cultural changes, and how theology shapes Christian faith and practice.
