Exegesis is the determination of the meaning of biblical text in its historical and literary context. In the how to teach the Bible series, you will learn the types of teaching, choosing, and exegeting a text to better understanding the author’s intent. The key to a good Exegesis is the ability to ask the right questions of the text to get the author’s intended meaning. A good Exegetical question fall into two basic categories: questions of content (what is said) and of context (why it is said).
