Small Group

What is this Ministry?

• The Small Groups ministry is committed to helping fulfill our vision of everyone in community. We seek to offer a variety of types of small groups to meet a broad spectrum of individual needs. We have fellowship groups that are more on-going in nature and cover a variety of issues. Our equipping groups are more limited in time-frame (usually in blocks of 12-16 weeks) and cover issues like financial management, biblical parenting, studying through a book such as Celebration of Disciplines, etc.

What is my commitment? How often? What do I do?

• What we really need is more people who are willing to host or lead a small group. This commitment is something that we can discuss in terms of how long and how often. Since we have a variety of group types, the commitment level for each will be different.

Do I need any training? How can I get it?

• If you are willing to lead a small group, we would like to see that you are equipped and resourced with all that you need. It is best if you have some experience leading a group already, but that shouldn't stop you . We can provide on-the-job training.

What should I do to get involved? Who do I contact?

• If you have an interest in hosting or leading, please contact (zgc(a)bicf.org).

Why should I do this ministry?

• We cannot survive in our faith alone. God has created us to be in relationships and to encourage one another. Small groups are a great way for us to accomplish that. Not only will you be blessed by the time in the Word and fellowship, but you can also be a blessing to other group members and those around you as you reach out as a group.
