Projection Ministry

What is this Ministry?

• The projection ministry serves the congregation by using technology to display useful information on screens in front of them. The information complements every phase of the service, including pre-service announcements, songs, prayer requests, sermon notes, and occasional other media.

What do I do? What is my commitment? How often?

• There are a number of stages of operation in the projection ministry. Before the Sunday service, someone in church administration will email information to the projection team leader. The different elements in the service are loaded into EasyWorship, the software program used by the church, and then the computer is manned during the service.

• Every Sunday there are 2 services. Your commitment depends on the total number of people involved in the ministry. The goal is to have four teams, so you would be serving once a month.

Do I need any training? How can I get it?

• Yes, unless you have many months of experience doing church multimedia projection in another church, you will need to be trained on how to do this job.

What should I do to get involved? Who do I contact?

• Please call or email Rick Bruderick, the Projection Ministry Team Leader at rlbruderick(a)gmail.com.

Why should I do this ministry?

• In the modern, technological, multimedia-rich world that we live in, churches are judged by the quality of their projection. If you want to make the service flow smoothly and efficiently for the Lord’s glory, you can find a place on our team. People competent and committed to this vision are needed.
