Prayer Ministry

What is this Ministry?

• The main function of the Prayer Ministry is to pray during the services, for the service, the speaker, and the people. We also pray with the speaker before the service.

What is my commitment? How often? What do I do?

• Your commitment is to pray while the service is going on. How often depends mainly on how many people are involved with the team. The goal is to have a two month rotation of people, such that each member would pray through the service once very two months. If you would like to pray more often than that, then we can work something out! • You will also be given a one-page simple guide for you to follow.

Do I need any training? How can I get it?

• No training needed. We, as a prayer team, will have a short meeting sometime in the near future (between services) where you can ask questions and will be given more direction. Beyond this, you only need to have a relationship with the Lord and be willing to talk to him during the service.

What should I do to get involved? Who do I contact?

• Contact the office: zgc(a)bicf.org or you can contact Michael Knapp, the leader of the Prayer Ministry, at truth4asia(a)yahoo.com.

Why should I do this ministry?

• Because Heaven is counting on you for this! God wants to do great things in BICF and in Beijing . . . but some of what he wants to will only follow the prayer that he wants his people to raise to him! If you desire to see God more here, you can pray during the services and be a real, real difference-maker for the Kingdom.
