What is this Ministry?

• We prepare special worship songs to be ministered during the offertory portion of the Sunday morning worship service. We also prepare music for special celebration times, such as Christmas and Easter. We may also be asked to sing outside the church walls as the Lord opens doors in the community.

What is my commitment? How often? What do I do?

• Attend at least 3 rehearsals to prepare to sing one worship song. The goal is to have a choir piece at least once a month. At Christmas, Easter or at other times there may be additional activities.

Do I need any training? How can I get it?

• No training is needed, unless you want to join us as a musician. Then, obviously, proficiency on your chosen instrument is crucial. Voice lessons are always helpful, but not necessary. How can I get it? Music lessons are available throughout Beijing.

Why should I do this ministry?

• The Bible commands us to worship the Lord with the song over and over again. If He has given us the gift of music, what better way to use that gift than in offering it back to Him in praise? Come and bless the Lord and His congregation with your gift of music!
